華為預計2011年收入增長10%(雙語)

  Huawei Technologies Co. said on Wednesday that its revenue is likely to rise by 10% to $31 billion in 2011, due to an expansion in its enterprise and device businesses. However, the forecast represents a decline from 2010's 24% growth, due to challenges stemming from an appreciating yuan and protectionism in key markets.

  中國電信設(shè)備制造商華為技術(shù)有限公司(Huawei Technologies Co.,簡稱:華為)周三說,由于企業(yè)和設(shè)備業(yè)務擴張,公司預計2011年收入將增長10%,至310億美元。不過,這一預測較華為2010年24%的收入增幅有所下跌,原因是人民幣升值和關(guān)鍵市場的貿(mào)易保護主義給公司帶來挑戰(zhàn)。

  The growth target for 2011 is "not robust but nevertheless still healthy and sustainable growth when you take all the considerations into account," said Fan Chen, vice president of accounting at Huawei, adding that an appreciating yuan, labor shortage in China, trade protectionism and other barriers were among the considerations weighing on earnings.

  華為財務管理部副總裁陳繁昌說,如將各種因素都考慮在內(nèi),2011年的增長目標并不強勁,但仍表明公司將保持健康、持續(xù)增長。她補充說,人民幣升值、中國勞動力短缺、貿(mào)易保護主義及其它貿(mào)易壁壘等因素都可能給公司利潤帶來壓力。

  Competitors of the Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer are blocking the company's efforts in key markets, including the U.S. and India, "in the name of security," Huawei's marketing chief Richard Yu said at a press briefing.

  華為首席營銷長余承東(Richard Yu)在新聞發(fā)布會上說,華為的競爭對手正以安全為由給華為躋身美國和印度等關(guān)鍵市場的努力制造障礙。

  He said Huawei aims to be a transparent and politically neutral company: "We are not a government owned company... We want to be neutral." He added Huawei has "no connection with any political things."

  余承東說,華為的目標是成為一個業(yè)務透明、政治中立的企業(yè)。他說,華為不是國企,華為希望保持中立。他還說,華為與政治沒有任何關(guān)聯(lián)。

  This year, the company hopes to expand beyond its traditional business of selling equipment to telecom carriers, which accounts for 66% of revenue, to sell more products to companies, Yu said.

  余承東說,華為希望今年能將業(yè)務范圍擴大,向企業(yè)出售更多產(chǎn)品,超出向電信運營商出售設(shè)備這一占華為收入66%的傳統(tǒng)業(yè)務。

  Huawei also wants to expand its mobile devices business to $15 billion-$20 billion in the next five years, from $5 billion now, Yu said, adding that the company will also continue to build its brand name in the mobile device market.

  余承東說,華為還希望在未來五年將移動設(shè)備業(yè)務從目前的50億美元擴展至150億至200億美元。他說,公司將繼續(xù)在移動設(shè)備市場打造自己的品牌。

  Yu said he expects the number of mobile broadband users to rise by 5.5 billion globally in 10 years, while the number of mobile device and cloud technology users is likely to grow by 10 billion.

  余承東說,他預計全球手機寬帶用戶的數(shù)量在未來10年將增長55億,而移動設(shè)備和云技術(shù)用戶的數(shù)量可能會增加100億。

  As 100% of data content will be online by then, Huawei is working on developing cloud computing technology, Yu added.

  The company said earlier this month that its net profit rose 30% last year due to rapidly growing overseas sales, although a strengthening Chinese currency presented challenges.

  The company has also struggled to overcome government concerns, particularly in the U.S., over what critics call close ties to the Chinese government - something Huawei denies.

  Huawei posted a foreign-exchange loss of 1.24 billion Chinese yuan ($189.9 million) for 2010, compared with a foreign-exchange gain of 1.64 billion Chinese yuan in 2009, as the yuan gained around 4.5% against the dollar since June, when China ended the yuan's de facto peg to the U.S. currency.

  2010年華為發(fā)生匯兌損失人民幣12.4億元(合1.899億美元),2009年匯兌收益為人民幣16.4億元。自去年6月份中國結(jié)束了人民幣與美元實際掛鉤的制度以來,人民幣兌美元已經(jīng)累計升值4.5%左右。

  Huawei's revenue rose 24% to 185.18 billion Chinese yuan ($28.0 billion) in 2010.

  華為2010年收入增長24%,至人民幣1,851.8億元(合280億美元)。
